3/31/2020 Between now and April 30th?Well.......
The rules have changed and now our governor has extended the stay-at-home order until April 30, 2020. In the next few days, the GLCUSBC will be talking to our local proprietors and managers about center operations, fall leagues and summer league activity. We respect our Proprietor's who will work directly with their customer and anything they would like to share in this experience we will post here on our news page and provide updates on social media to direct our members here. When this started a couple of weeks it would have been an easy adjustment for everyone to accept two weeks off from bowling. However, the new change I'm sure leaves a lot of doubt as to what happens next. I know the social media opinion is there is a lot of us who just want to get back on the lanes! In teh means while we are asking that league officers try to have some dialog with your league board made up team captains. Phone calls and Emails can work towards resolving some of the concerns you might have. These days social media websites like Facebook can even allow you to create a dedicated page for your league to share information. There is even a way to have Live Video sessions creating an open forum to encourage dialog from your members. Other popular Audio/Video interactive application are Facetime that can offer a chat with 32 users, Skype 50 users, and Zoom for up to 100 users with limitations. League Officers, please note you can not terminate a season unless you have a vote from your entire board! If you any questions please do not hesitate to use the contact link on our website to send us a message. Thank you, Michael Jacobs Comments are closed.
