The Happiest Place in Mundelein, Lakeside Recreation Center will host the GLCUSBC's 92nd Annual Open Championship.
This year's event includes a couple of rule changes, one due to COVID-19 and another subject to entry into this year's event.
All bowlers who bowled in a GLCUSBC league during the 2019-2020 season are eligible to bowl even if you decided not bowl in a league this year. Bowlers will still be required to be members of the GLCUSBC during the 2020-2021 season. Options to acquire membership include a purchase directly at Bowl.com or from the local association manager.
The number of times you can enter the team event will be based on the number of certified leagues you bowling in the GLCUSBC during the 2019-2020 season with a maximum of four events.
Event Update: While we have 4 days and 8 squads dedicated to the Team event the GLCUSBC realizes the extended closure of our centers has delayed teams from forming to get into this years event. We will be accepting Team entries during the squads traditionally reserved for the Doubles and Singles Events. We are encouraging captains to make these squad reservations as early as they can.

The Team event will be limited to ONE TEAM per pair! This will strictly limit the number of entries per squad. All early reservations must be paid in full by February 6, 2021, to secure your team's entry date and squad time. Due to space limitations, entries not paid for by the cut-off date could lose their first choice reservation.

New Rule for 2021: All Events Handicap is now an Optional Entry. Like All Events Scratch, this optional entry must be paid before you start competing in your first team event. All events is the nine-game total from your first team event, and the doubles and singles events combined.
