Effective with the 2018-2019 season all Lake County bowlers, who sanction with the United States Bowling Congress, are now members of the Greater Lake County USBC. The newly merged board was created from the Lake County Bowling Association, Lake County Women’s Bowling Association, Waukegan Women’s Bowling Association and Lake County Youth Bowling Association. In our previous post, we introduced you to the names of the new officers and directors.

We plan to bring back all of the tournaments that were held by the four previous associations. Tournament entry forms will be available at all centers in the beginning of the season in order to promote more interest and participation in these events. Please check your local centers for our event poster highlighting these tournaments. Tournament details are under the Tournaments Tab. Each event will now have its own dedicated page.

We are also going to expand our Association activity on the Facebook and Twitter social media sites.
A new tournament, geared for the competitive scratch bowlers, will replace the long-standing Masters Tournament.
